Happy birthday, Megan - Spoonlickers Party

We celebrated Megan's 7th birthday with school friends and neighbors at her "favorite place on earth", Spoonlickers.  It's one of those frozen yogurt shops where you get to customize your own frozen yogurt/toppings for a small fortune.  One of their nearby locations has a private party room that we were able to take advantage of, filling it with 12 of her favorite friends and fellow ice cream lovers.

And because Megan is a female between the ages of 4 and 12, she is currently obsessed with the movie Frozen.  What better place to have a Frozen themed party than at an ice cream shop, amiright?

Kicking off year seven with a bang
The room was decorated really cute, and by people other than me.  It's a beautiful thing.
We set out a few snacks to go with our unlimited ice cream - obviously those were all totally necessary
Who could resist a Build-Your-Own-Olaf snack bar? (complete with gluten-free donut holes for a certain party guest I happen to have a thing for)
Our friends began to arrive...
Gianna, McKenna, Norah & the Birthday Girl
Isabelle, Cambell & Lyla
...Then it was time to get some ice cream!
With the word unlimited hanging over their head, they went for broke on the toppings
Evelyn, Hannah, Lily & Hazel enjoying their ice cream
The birthday girl is pleased with her party thus far
I had no idea what amount of space we'd have when we walked in, but I knew we'd need to have a couple of games to keep them entertained (the alternative being to let them eat ice cream for two hours straight...)
Lining up for Snowball Toss
Gianna takes a turn
Norah, Gianna, Megan, Rachel, Isabelle & McKenna in all in line - snowball toss was quite a hit!
Hannah, Snoopy & Daddy helped toss the snowballs back to the participants
Cambell in action
Isabelle gets ready
Snowball toss got a little violent after a few turns - we had to redirect them to a more peaceful game
Next up was musical snowflakes (like musical chairs, only we passed around snowflake ornaments) to the tune of "Let It Go"
Then it was on to Build Your Own Olaf craft time, using donut holes, pretzels, raisins and carrots
Evenlyn made herself a fine Olaf
We fit in another round of ice cream before present time
Birthday song time - the cake was just a show piece since we were all full of ice cream and donut holes
PRESENTS!
Reading her cards to the crowd
She got a Mooshka doll from Hannah - direct marketing told her she "needed" one of these
More gifts
Ever After High dolls from McKenna
Barbie from Rachel
All in all, it was quite a good haul
Posing with best bud, McKenna
