Lacey has made herself quite at home at our Grand Haven house. She didn't seem too sure last summer, but we've noticed a whole new level of comfort at the house since our return this spring. She has the run of her fenced-in backyard, and also gets lots and lots of walks on our sidewalk'd city streets.
Her "give me a snack" pose looks remarkably the same here as it does at home |
Beagle on the Boardwalk |
The Boardwalk is quite a hike from our house - we split a muffin to keep our strength up |
"The muffin helped, but I'm still pretty hot." |
Luckily she found these nachos on the walk home. That was clutch. |
I dare anyone to try and get the remote from her... |
After a few walks too many, she'll even resort to passing out on the floor - almost like a real dog. |
Enjoying the view from her front porch |
Official Guard Dog |
After all the walking and people-watching, our rides back to Grand Rapids are generally pretty quiet |
