Florida, Day 4 - Island Fun

We talk a big game, but the reality is we hail from Michigan, and are not equipped with the necessary sun-repelling skin survival tactics that the Florida natives have.  After two intense beach days, I had one big kid covered in sunburns, and one little kid running a fever of unknown origins.  We decided that today would be an excellent today to take a break from the beach and explore other, more shaded parts of the Island.

Megan spent most of the morning drowning herself in Aloe.  Mom spent most of the morning feeling like an idiot for letting her get sunburned.  My bad...
Hannah was fever-free by mid-afternoon, and we decided to take the trolley to enjoy some mini-golf.
Don't they look like professionals?
Hole in one for Megan!
...and Hannah!
Grandma Gloria treated us to a golf cart ride home, so we didn't have to wait for the trolley.
This was like the minivan of golf carts, and a big hit with the kiddos.
Our cousins had to head home after golf, so Grandma Dee kept the girls busy with arts and crafts - paints, sea shells and glitter pens are a fantastic combination.
