We talk a big game, but the reality is we hail from Michigan, and are not equipped with the necessary sun-repelling skin survival tactics that the Florida natives have. After two intense beach days, I had one big kid covered in sunburns, and one little kid running a fever of unknown origins. We decided that today would be an excellent today to take a break from the beach and explore other, more shaded parts of the Island.

Grandma Gloria treated us to a golf cart ride home, so we didn't have to wait for the trolley. |

Our cousins had to head home after golf, so Grandma Dee kept the girls busy with arts and crafts - paints, sea shells and glitter pens are a fantastic combination. |
