We finally made it down to Artprize, catching the exhibits just two days before the competition shut down. We generally wait until the voting narrows down the public favorites, and try to catch as many of those as we can that are concentrated within reasonable walking distance.

Getting started at the BOB's living wall exhibit - "Breathe" |
Poseidon's Paradise |
The girls were impressed with this one, also at the BOB. |
Not top 20, but we found this exhibit at the BOB to have great novelty |
"Perspective", also at the BOB |

This lady loves Artprize |
They particularly likes this colorful, interactive installation outside the Public Museum |

...pretty sure Hannah just wrote her name. |
"Grand River Fish Petroglyph", outside the Public Museum |
Handmade Japanese paper cut into a polar bear - this was seriously impressive (Ford Museum) |
"Engulfed in Glass" - Ford Museum |
"Color out of Darkness" - Ford Museum |
We found this fun swing outside the Amway |
Megan's art teacher has done an entry for the last couple of years. This year he did a clay cookie for every student at the school - the names were altered somewhat for privacy reasons... |
Megan was delighted to find her cookie - it was her primary objective of attending Artprize. |
