Megan attended Appletree's Summer Explorers program during June and July, but in an effort to make her summer "special", we elected to keep her home in August and enroll her in some other camps. During the first week of August, she attended Camp Manitou-Lin (through the YMCA). We strategically selected this week so she could attend with one of her best friend's from preschool, who we found out last minute was NOT attending. This was definitely not a good surprise! The bus ride to and from camp was almost an hour long, and Mom & Dad were soooo, sooo worried about how she would react to such a long day without her good friend...
